Our Media needs to think before it speaks

13/7/11: 3 Blasts in Mumbai, 19 dead (and counting) over 100 injured.
14/7/11: People blaming PC and RR Patil fo it. (Somehow it doesnt make sense to me, how do they expect these 2 guys to keep an eye on one person who sneaks around amongst other 1.21 billion)
Of course today's papers are full of Kasab's Birthday Blast and other blame games.

But my point is that the media needs to thinks what impact its actions would have on the people:

(Long story short) 1:Horrifyingly graphic picture in a leading daily of the Mumbai blasts is disturbing.
2: Another daily comes up with an article asking : "was the attack aimed at the Gujratis". I do not understand, what intention does this tabloid have, but isn't it supposed to give us news, rather implanting questions and ideas into peoples mind which would affect the peace of the society

But once again I salute the spirit of Mumbai, after i read this:
'the famous "spirit of Mumbai" was back this morning, less than 12 hours after the serial bomb blasts that killed 19.

'Educational institutions and offices reported almost full attendance and business in the city was back in full swing as most Mumbaikars chose to report to work despite the city being on high alert.
Children went to school as usual and many people started early for work anticipating delay in trains on account of rains, only to find scores of others also turning up ahead of time.

The spirit of Mumbai residents was lauded today by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, who said, "People of Mumbai have responded splendidly (to the terror attacks)'
